Kenny Chesney is the latest artist to postpone his summer tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All of our summer concert cancellations and postponements have been disappointing, but this could be the toughest one to to take.

Kenny Chesney announced this afternoon on Facebook he is postponing his Chillaxification 2020 Tour due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This includes shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey August 22nd and two shows at Gillette Stadium August 28th and 29th. Kenny said they exhausted all options to make the tour happen, but just could not do it safely at this time.

According to his post, dates for the tour are currently being rescheduled for 2021 and should be announced soon and if you have tickets they will be good for the resheculed dates. Refund options will also be announced with the rescheduled dates. Here is Kenny's full post from Facebook today:

Any summer concert is a blast, but Kenny's stadium shows are a truly unique happening. From Kenny's overall island attitude to the amazing lineups to the diverse group of fans who make it a party, these shows are can't miss events and it is a major bummer we will miss them this summer. Thankfully we got to see Kenny in Albany this time last year, so we will not be going two years between Kenny shows like many will now have to do.
