Josh Turner Announces Albany Concert

The summer concert season in the Capital Region keeps getting better and better!

While most of the concert season will be centered around Saratoga Springs with a great run of Country shows at Albany Med Health System at SPAC, the greater Albany area will feature some great concerts as well in the months ahead.

Zac Brown Band comes to MVP Arena on July 31st, Russell Dickerson will be at the Joe on August 22nd, and Tracy Lawrence comes to the Palace Theatre on September 25th. Now, we can add another Albany show with one of Country music's most unmistakable voices.

Josh Turner To Bring 'This Country Music Thing Tour' To Albany

From the first verse of 'Long Black Train' all those years ago, Josh Turner instantly became one of Country music's most recognizable and smoothest voices. There is no mistaking his deep baritone, and his soulful songs have reached anthemic status over the years. We last got to see Josh back in the summer of 2024 at the Schoharie County Sunshine Fair, and now he is set to return this summer.

Josh will bring his This Country Music Thing Tour with Nashville Riser Spencer Hatcher to the Palace Theatre in Albany on Friday, August 21st. You can listen every weekday (Mon. 5/11 - Fri. 5/15) at 3:25 for Matty's Throwback Track to win a pair of tickets to the show and for some great tunes from Josh.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 15th, at 11 am through Ticketmaster or the Palace box office.
