The Marcus King Band announces The Darling Blue Part 2 Tour with a stop in the Capital Region. Here's everything you need to know.

If you have not seen the Marcus King Band yet, don't miss this opportunity. Marcus, who turns 30 this week, is a guitar slinger from South Carolina with a powerful voice and songwriting skills that tell stories beyond his years. In 2020 King's solo album "El Dorado" was nominated for the Best American Album Grammy.

Since his debut album in 2014 the Marcus King Band has toured with the likes of Chris Stapleton and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. In 2024 Marcus played the Palace Theatre in Albany on a solo tour, and just last month he paid tribute to the Marshall Tucker Band with an all-star line-up at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.

The Marcus King Band will play Frog Alley Brewing Company, 108 State Street in Schenectady, on Saturday June 13, 2026. The Marcus King Band will be supported by Penelope Road. Tickets will go on sale Thursday March 12th at 10am. Check for tickets HERE.

After some time spent exploring solo opportunities Marcus King is now reuniting with his longtime live band, the Marcus King Band, for the first time since 2018’s Carolina Confessions.

In September of 2025 the band released the "Darling Blue" album, featuring Noah Cyrus, Billy Strings, Kaitlin Butts, and more, with co-writes from Midland and Lainey Wilson among other notable names.
