Apparently, Taylor Swift's infiltration of the National Football League is continuing into the offseason.

To back-track a bit, Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs' star Travis Kelce in the fall of 2023. She began to attend Chiefs' games at some point during the season, and each time she'd attend, she'd be featured HEAVILY on the game's television broadcast.

Some people loved this trend, while others hated it, but by the end of the season, most of us were simply tired of it.

Regardless of how we all felt about the attention, Kansas City kept winning, so, we all kept having to endure it as each new weekend approached. In the end, the Chiefs made it back to the Super Bowl in improbable fashion this season, and outlasted the San Francisco 49ers in an overtime thriller to win Super Bowl LVIII, 25-22.

Now that the Chiefs are champs (again), they get the honor of determining which players, coaches and staffers receive a legitimate Super Bowl ring. Naturally, the ever-passionate Swifties of the world believe that Taylor Swift deserves a ring of her own.

Others, namely football purists, would rather not see that happen.

How do football players feel about this possibility? Well, TMZ had the chance to ask this question to Darren Waller, tight end for the New York Giants. On the idea of Swift receiving a SB ring, Waller said this:

"[They should go to] people in meetings, on the field -- like, really in the trenches, you know?" -Darren Waller, via TMZ

His answer is short and sweet, and I would imagine that a lot of people in the football world would agree. Players and coaches work for years, if not decades, to reach the point in their careers where they can receive a Super Bowl ring.

A replica ring is certainly one thing to present to her, but the real thing? That's quite another.

Here's an idea: Travis Kelce could end this entire conversation by presenting a different type of ring to Taylor Swift sometime soon.

Just saying.
