Jelly Roll Lets 12-Year-Old Fan Tear It Up Onstage With Him [Watch]

Jelly Roll has been hitting the road hard this summer. During a recent show in Milwaukee, he brought out a 12-year-old fan on stage to help him out with his duet with Brantley Gilbert called "Son of the Dirty South." The fan's name is Brady, and it took quite an effort to get himself onto the stage that night at the sold-out show.

According to Music Mayhem Magazine, it started when Brady and his dad got VIP tickets to the show at American Family Insurance Amphitheater, which in turn gave him the opportunity to connect with Jelly Roll’s DJ, DJ Chill, and his drummer, Cody Ash. Brady showed the band members clips of him rapping on social media, then proceeded to ask to sing “Son of the Dirty South” with Jelly Roll.

Then, Brady showed up to the concert with a sign he had made that read, “Can I sing 'Son of the Dirty South' with you please?” Jelly Roll spotted Brady’s sign and asked his crew to get him in-ear monitors before he started playing the track.

You can see the pure joy and excitement on Jelly Roll's face as Brady smashes the lyrics and was hitting every cue in the song. At one point during the performance, Jelly Roll just kind of stops what he is doing, and watches as a pure fan himself.

Jelly Roll might be new on the country scene, but he is a seasoned pro when it comes to performing. Jelly Roll told the crowd, “I just want y’all to know it doesn’t always go that well. That was incredible. That absolutely blew my fu--ing mind, to be honest. If I had that talent when I was 12 years old, I wouldn’t have went to prison. It’s going to be hard to follow that. We should’ve saved him for last.”

The two then shared a hug and exchanged some words, and Jelly Roll looked to be giving Brady some quick encouragement and life advice before sending him on his way back to his seat.
