You know that Crossgates Mall 1980s era video that trends every so often? Well, I found a new throwback video I haven't seen before and this one is of a little further north.

I love seeing part of the Capital Region from before I was born. We come from such a historic area that has had such great growth in even the last 10 years. Even historical buildings like Proctors Theatre in Schenectady has had it's changes in the last few years. Usually, we see pictures from decades ago but not usually video so that's why I was so excited when I found this video of "1958 Lake George Glens Falls" on Reddit.

One of my favorite parts of the video is right around 2:15 where someone is filming themselves driving past the Great Escape/Storytown. There are no roller coasters, no Sasquatch, but you can still see the yellow shoe at the top of the hill!

Also, right around 3:08 they're filming from what looks like either Martha's Dandee Creme or Mr B's Best (were either of them around in 1958?). At 3:27, if you remember Animal Land, it'll bring back memories for you, too! At one point, even Queensbury High School makes an appearance! Do you recognize any of these people or places?
