With some light snow in the air this morning, the weather is perfect for enjoying the annual Frost Faire today at the Saratoga National Historical Park.

Inspired by Frost Faires from the 1700's in England, this event offers a variety of activities at no cost for families to celebrate the past while having fun enjoying the present.

The event includes horse-drawn carriage rides, a winter nature trek and scavenger hunt, guided snow shoeing, children's crafts and games, and musket and cannon firings. This year's Faire will not feature snow tubing on the Battlefield's "Big Hill" due to icy conditions.

The Saratoga Battlefield is located on Routes 4 and 32 in Stillwater.
