Extreme Monster Truck Show Rolls Into Altamont This Weekend

For any motorsports event, telling you what it's like or how much you will enjoy is completely impossible. It applies to NASCAR racing and honestly any type of event that involves wheels and lots of horsepowers. I will never forget how in awe I was at my first NASCAR race, and the same applies to monster truck shows.

I first went to a monster truck event as a kid on a Cub Scout trip a long time ago, and will never forget the feeling of hearing that horsepower come to life and roar. Just the sheer spectacle of Bigfoot driving over those cars all those years ago was so fun to watch. The sport is certainly more high flying now and more exciting than ever. This weekend, that excitement comes to the Albany area.

The 2Xtreme Monster Truck series will visit the Albany area for the first time ever this Saturday at Altamont Fairgrounds. The show wil take place from 2 to 4pm and feature plenty of monster truck action from popular trucks like Bounty Hunter, Scarlet Bandit, and Hot Tamale. Plus there are VIP and Pit Party packages available as well as a kid's powerwheel race during intermssion.
