When a brand new country artist is breaking into the whole business they never expect the climb up the ladder to be fast. It usually takes years and a few albums before a lot of acts know if they are actually going to make it. Easton Corbin was one of the lucky ones. When his music first started being heard around record executive offices in Nashville some rumors were getting out that his label Mercury Records had a "kid" that sounded like a young George Strait. That is not a compliment you hear very often. When his first song arrived to radio I remember listening to "A Little More country Than That." I thought it was incredible, and apparently so did the rest of you because it ended up being a #1 hit for him. I had a few people from work listen to it and asked them who they though was singing it. They all said George Strait, so the rumors were true. Easton has been cranking out hits ever since and his current hit is the title track his new CD "All Over The Road". Give it a listen here and get ready to see Easton Corbin crank out all of his hits at 1077 'GNA Countryfest 2013 "Our 20th Anniversary Show" on July 13th at Schaghticoke Fairgrounds with Superstar headliner Darius Rucker, Sheryl Crow, Joe Diffie, Greg Bates, Mark Wills and Joel Crouse.
