Easton Corbin Canceling Shows & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

There is so much happening with country artists and their concert dates or lack there of. Tonight’s the night Martina McBride will be turning the Empire State Building pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Martina will also perform a private concert.

Easton Corbin canceled a number of shows due to illness.  He apologized to fans on his website after his doctor told him he needed to rest until he’s 100%.

Charlie Daniels Band canceling their shows after the loss of their longtime keyboard player, Joel ‘Taz’ DiGregorio.  Joel died Wednesday after getting injured in a single car accident down in Tennessee.  The band cancelled their concert tonight in Georgia and tomorrow in Connecticut.

The remake of the 1984 movie “Footloose” is out in theaters today.  Blake Shelton sings Kenny Loggins, “Footloose,” which I’ve heard is quite a good remake.  The Los Angeles Times, gave Blake lots of credit.  Not sure how the movie will be, but Julianne Hough is it shaking her thang.

Zac Brown Band teaming up with Carhartt.  You can submit stories and photos of co-workers, friends or family members who you think are worthy of recognition by Carhartt.  Each week they’ll name an “Everyday Icon” who will win prizes from Carhartt and maybe a chance to meet the Zac Brown Band and see them in concert.
