Kenny Chesney was probably one of the first country singers I ever liked/loved and for a while was one of my favorites.  I was even one of the many that had a long-lasting crush on him and thought someday I'd marry him. (Who was I kidding!)  However, I took a long sabbatical as one of his fans.  To be honest, his music began to sound redundant and I started to like other singers more than him (yes, my heart moved on).  This isn't typical amongst performers and is of course, a matter of opinion.  But I just started to either not like his songs or found they all sounded like each other.

Chesney has a new song out, off his latest album, "Hemingway's Whiskey."  He teamed up with a female vocalist by the name of Grace Potter.  I hadn't heard of her before this song and I must say, the two of them sound great together.  The best part, is the song has a different sound to it and doesn't sound like anything else Kenny has done.  The song is called, "You and Tequila" and if you haven't heard it, check out the video/audio below.  I think you'll be hooked just as fast as I have become to this song.
