The magazine "People Country" has named the Hottest Country Guys of 2012 and Blake Shelton is sitting on the throne.  Blake's response to the honor included,

"I think it's funny because there nothing about me, if I was a girl, that I would think is sexy."

Such a modest guy, isn't he?  Wifey Miranda Lambert, on the other hand, said

"The minute he opens his mouth and starts talking to you, he makes you smile.  That's what made me think, 'Oh my gosh, this guy is awesome.'"

Some of the other country guys that made the cut include Kenny Chesney, Chris Young, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, David Nail and Keith Urban.

Luke Bryan's Tailgates & Tanlines album is holding on tight to the No. 1 spot on Billboard's country album chart.  Luke's ablum came out last August and sold more than 18,200 copies in the first week alone.

The big ACM Awards are this weekend.  Taylor Swiftsays award shows, in general, are stressful, but she feels she is always a little more relaxed at the ACMs and has more fun because they are in Las Vegas.  Who couldn't have fun in Las Vegas, right?  Taylor is up for Entertainer of the year, which she won last year and is considered the most prestigious award by many people.

And in case you've been wondering what town won Lady Antebellum's prom contest, the tornado ravaged-Henryville High School was the grand prize winner.  The school's juniors and seniors have been invited to the KFC Yum! Center on May 16th for a private prom.  There will be a post-party concert open to the public.  All proceeds raised from the concert portion of Rebuilding Henryville will remain local.
