1995- George Jones and Tammy Wynette reunite for 'One.' Their first duet release in over 15 years. The once-married couple also embark on a national tour with Kenny Chesney opening many of the dates.
1991- Anne Murray's 'Greatest Hits' goes four-times platinum for shipping over four million copies. At the time, Anne Murray is the first Country female artist to reach that milestone with one album.
1992- Billy Ray Cyrus is at No. 1 with 'Achy Breaky Heart.' The song dominates Country and Pop radio play lists for the next year. The tune also sparks a national line dance craze that remains popular throughout the '90s.
1981- The Oak Ridge Boys hit the top of the Billboard charts with 'Elvira.'
