On Friday, someone called New York State Capitol Police about a woman at the Corning Tower that seemed to be unconscious.

When they arrived, they found the woman, who was conscious. She also allegedly smelled like she may have had a few cocktails. The suspect was a 40-year-old Albany  woman that ended up getting arrested and sent to the Albany County Jail, after she allegedly hit a trooper while the trooper was interviewing her.

The Troopers that responded to the scene walked the suspect, Sarah Barrett back to the the State Police Capitol station but the walk turned into a challenge. Barrett allegedly continued to give Troopers a hard time by struggling with them and also kicking.

Barrett is facing numerous charges including Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Endangerment, Obstructing Governmental Administration in the second degree, and Harassment in the second degree. According to the story from News 10 ABC, she has a Wednesday court date in Albany City Court.
