Wizard Of Oz Themed Casino, “Yellow Brick Road” Opening In New York

New York has a new casino opening on Tuesday!!

The announcement of the construction of The Yellow Brick Road, a new Oneida Indian Nation Casino in Chittenango, came as New York announced the approval of licensing four new casinos throughout the State.

The new casino will feature a “Wizard of Oz” theme!  How cool is that?  The Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum was born in Chittenango.  According to the casino website, the casino will feature close to 500 Vegas style slot machines, a 500 seat bingo room and a variety of restaurants and bars including a new pizza shop, Wicked Good Pizza, for dine-in or carry-out, which will have its own storefront entrance.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new casino will take place Tuesday at 10 am!

Only individuals at least 18 years of age will be allowed to enter the casino floor.

The slot floor will be open 24/7 while Bingo sessions will be held seven days a week, from 2:30 pm – 10:00 pm.
