“Whoever’s In New England” Reba McEntire-Flashback Friday (VIDEO)

The Academy of Country Music Awards are this Sunday Night on CBS6. Reba McEntire is once again hosting the event (this time with Blake Shelton), So I thought it would be a no brainer  to feature Ms. Reba in this weeks edition of Flashback Friday.

For this weeks trip back in time we go to the year 1986 with "Whoever's In New England"

The song reached number one on the Country charts in May of 1986. The fifth of an eventual 34  chart toppers.  The Album of the same name also went to number one and gave Reba her very first Platinum Album.  The following year at the ACM Awards Reba won Video of the Year for the song, (not to shabby for her first ever video), as well as taking home the trophy for Female Vocalist of the year. The song also won a Grammy for Best Country Performance by a female.
