Where Is the Most Expensive Summer Destination in Upstate NY?

A recent survey determined Saratoga Springs is the most expensive upstate destination in July and August.

A recent NewYorkHotels.org survey determined that East Hampton was the most expensive summer destination in all of New York. Saratoga Springs landed at No. 4 for the whole state, and was the priciest of all the upstate points of interest.

The survey was based on the cheapest available double room in July and August. As an article in NewYorkUpstate.Com says, the boom in tourism in the summer months during track season is a big reason Saratoga Springs landed at No. 4. During this time period, the cheapest double room is $268 a night - wowza!

Good thing we live just a short drive away from such a summer hotspot.
