This is very cool on the part of Union College and a certain student from Niskayuna -Max Caplan. It was all to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Abe Lincoln's death and also the end of the Civil War.

Max seems to be real good on the chimes.  I don't know anyone who's ever played those, to be honest.  I can't imagine that this would be easy, especially when you are playing in the iconic Memorial Chapel, according to an article in the Times Union.com

A few of the songs he banged out included "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" and "Aura Lee" . The latter I don't know, but everyone knows the former.

There's also an exhibit called Profound and Poignant going on there at the Nott Memorial if you are a history buff.

One more editorial comment here - It's really great to see someone young taking an interest in history. Bravo!
