Well it's official: A big congratulations to Taylor Swift winning the "Entertainer Of The Year" award at the 46th annual Academy Of Country Music Awards (voted by the fans), held in Las Vegas. She was up against some tough competition for this award. Beating out Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and WGNA-F.M. Countryfest 2011 headliner, Miranda Lambert. Even though Taylor topped Miranda with the "Entertainer" award, Miranda did pretty good. She won "Video Of The Year" for "The House That Built Me," which also won "Song Of The Year" and "Single Of The Year. (awarded to the Composer/Publisher/Artist).

Miranda won "Female Vocalist Of The Year."

I do have to admit, I really got a chuckle when Brad Paisley thanked his dog when he won "Male Vocalist Of The Year." I don't think anyone has ever done that before, but I could be wrong. A touching part of the show was from Darius Rucker, as he took the stage to help raise awareness and funds for the ACM Lifting Lives music campers honoring the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and its work with men and women across the country with developmental disabilities. Darius was joined on stage with 25 ACM Lifting Lives music campers.

Overall, I thought the show was very entertaining, and seemed to move along. Of course, Reba and Blake Shelton did a great job as hosts. And congratulations to all the winners. Did your favorite country stars win?
