Taylor Swift Earned the Most Money in 2011 & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

According to, country music and its artists are making their presence known in regards to the top 40 Money Makers of 2011.  Taylor Swift topped the list with over $35-million last year while Kenny Chesney was number two with almost $30-million.  Jason Aldean came in at number nine while Toby Keith was 15 on the list.

Carrie Underwood will join “Entertainment Tonight” to debut her video for her latest single, “Good Girl.”  It will be broadcasted exclusively on TV and online today.  Tomorrow, the video for “Good Girl” will be available for purchase on iTunes.  The song is currently holding onto to the No.1 slot on the Billboard Digital Country Songs Chart for the second week in a row.

Blake Shelton admits he does not like the newest accessory on “The Voice.”  Fellow judge Cee Lo Green has a new companion.  A cat named “Purrfect.”  If you’ve been watching “The Voice” at all this season, you’ve probably spotted the cat.  However, you won’t see it near Blake.  Blake says, “I don’t like cats, so I stay away.  I love Cee Lo, but I avoid him when he’s holding that smelly cat.”  On the other hand, Blake and Miranda are definitely dog people.  Miranda has a charity in which she regularly takes in stray canines and helps raise money for shelters.

And remember, Lady Antebellum‘s contest to play at a local prom ends this Friday.  They have offered up a 45-minute performance to the most creative fan.  The videos must be in by March 16th while the winner will be announced March 20th.  More details can be found at their website.
