Miranda Lambert is on the cover of the August issue of "Cosmopolitan". They're calling it the "First-Ever Country Issue," and it'll be out next Tuesday. She took a "Cosmo Quiz" to promote it, and revealed among other things that if she could have dinner with anyone she said "It would be Elvis, and we'd eat chicken fried steak and drink a lot."
If you could choose one person, living or dead, that you'd want to to eat with who would it be?

I've thought long and hard about this one, and not one person comes to mind.  I was actually having some anxiety and guilt over this as I struggled to come up with a name.   After some soul searching, I ultimately think I wouldn't choose a famous person at all.  I would probably choose my grandfather on my father's side of the family; Samuel.  I wasn't born when "Sam" died back in 1969.  He's the one person in my immediately family that meant so much to our circle, that I never had a relationship with. I would let him choose the restaurant of course, but my guess is we'd have some Jewish delicacies and chop it up over a nice corned beef on rye.  Just the thought of it makes me smile in a way that no celebrity could match.
