Vince Gill was one of the brightest stars in country music during the height of his career and is still in high demand in Nashville. Today's Superstars all admire Vince and invite him to play in studio sessions quite a bit.

When Jake and I were in Nashville for the CMA awards, we had the chance to visit with new stars, superstars and legends. One of the coolest guests on our list was Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill.

Vince Gill has one of the purest voices to ever grace the airwaves of country radio.

Vince Gill has many accolades in his career. He has won a handful of ACM Awards,  numerous CMA awards including Entertainer of the Year and has 18 Grammy Awards on his resume. In 2005 he was inducted to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and two years later was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Richie Phillips recently posted an article about the Albany Symphony Orchestra performing at Carnegie Hall.  After he finished writing about the good news, he asked me if any Country Music singers have ever played the world renowned concert venue.  The answer is...
