Everyone wants to see Garth Brooks live at the Times Union Center on March 11 that is just a fact. Unfortunately, another fact is that not everyone will be able to get tickets when they go on sale on Friday morning. We all know from experience that these tickets will not only sell out, they will sell out in record time...

WGNA is proud to announce the 2016 CMA Entertainer of the Year, Garth Brooks, with Trisha Yearwood, Saturday, March 11 at 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center.

I have loved all of these country shows coming through the Capital Region. It's been great to not only get to these shows, but experience the true talent of such big names like Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and as of last night, Carrie Underwood.

Easton did a great job opening for Carrie Underwood's Storyteller tour at the Times Union Center on Thursday night.  And, after his set I was lucky enough to chat with him backstage for a little while. From the 10-15 minutes I spent hanging out with him, I learned quite a bit...

The NCAA has announced it will be moving first and second round games from North Carolina to Greenville, South Carolina.

After the NCAA pulled the first and second round tournament games from Greensboro, NC, Times Union Center was hopeful to land those games. Sadly we did not.

This coming hockey season, the 'Albany River Rats' will return for 2 games at the Times Union Center.

Blake Shelton was everything last night. I may have been backstage, possibly in an area I wasn't supposed to be at one point, I met Blake Shelton and had a blast!

The real Blake Shelton is coming to the Times Union Center tonight, but what about the fake one? A look-a-like fooled fans and security at his show in Fargo, North Dakota on Saturday.  The guy's name is Andrew Dahle and he does look a little like Blake in the face, hair and beard, and seems to be about the same height...
