Did you watch the Arnold Palmer Classic this weekend. If you didn't you missed some great golf. It's always nice when Tiger, is actually playing like Tiger. I also love that there seems to be a resurgence of talent in the American ranks. I have to admit I was worried for a while there. This week I had an opportunity to see my Yankees play the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The Yankees lost in the ninth inning but I must admit , it wasn't a horrible time. I left there thinking that Fenway was one of the coolest places to see a professional sports team.

Don't get me wrong.  It would be Un-American to totally diss the Olympics.  I'm all for getting behind our teams over there.  But I'm a little bit old school when it comes to the sports I'm accustomed to seeing during the coverage of the Olympics.  I will now present my humble opinion in song form and then we'll see if you agree

Yesterday the Baltimore Orioles beat the Red Sox 9-6 in a game went 17 innings and lasted 6 hours and 17 minutes. That is quite a long time to sit through a game and  I have been in that situation before. I was in attendance for the longest AHL game in history back in 2008.

Besides it being Saturday, which is usually enough for most of us  to celebrate, but there are two more.
