Saturday Night Live

Every once and a while a cast member comes along to SNL and maybe we don't realize how great they are from the beginning but slowly over time they ingrain themselves in the skits and our hearts. Phil Hartman was like that for me and so is Kristen Wiig. So I was so proud of SNL last night when they wished her well in style.

For his whole life Eli Manning has been compared to his older brother Peyton. Eli and Peyton both had outstanding college football careers and both have Super Bowl rings (Eli-2/Peyton-1). However it seems no matter what Eli does he is not as good as Peyton in anyone's mind. So I had high hopes for Eli on SNL.

Saturday Night Live has had a few really funny bits lately and I laughed out loud for "The Real Housewives Of Disney".

We all have them, celebrity crushes. Mine have always been hot blondes. I love the seductive, strong, sexy heroines form the movies. In fact, I think the only thing I really remember about "Iron Man 2" is Scarlett Johansson. Granted, she had black hair in the movie, but I know who was underneath all that hair dye and leather.

Saturday Night Live was invaded by "The Muppets" last week and it was awesome. My favorite sketch of the night was "Really With Seth and Kermit". Just a very funny and well done bit. Enjoy!

If you stayed up late on Saturday night, you had a chance to see one of the hottest acts in country music, Lady Antebellum perform as the musical guests on Saturday Night Live.

The 37th season of "Saturday Night Live" premieres this weekend. Alec Baldwin is hosting for a record-breaking 16th time. This puts Baldwin one ahead of Steve Martin(15) and four ahead of John Goodman and Paul Simon both with 12 hosting appearances.

Gwyneth Paltrow had a chance to promote her new Country themed movie, "Country Strong," as the guest host of Saturday Night Live on January 15, 2011.  As we learned in a previous interview, Gwyenth is a new fan of the genre.
