I don’t normally share this type of thing on my Facebook page or the blog, but it made me laugh when I saw it this morning. These kids are learning it takes some hard work to get what you want, not just a bunch of “likes” on Facebook:
My family and I rent half of a duplex on a dead end street in a nice neighborhood. We’ve been here for three years, and the tenant on the other side of the duplex moved out recently and a new family has just moved in. The new family has 3 kids u
My daughter is having some trouble at school. She’s in third grade and while she is very intelligent, she struggles socially and is not getting very good grades on her school work. She has trouble remembering
I have an Aunt who we often invite over for the holidays, she is unmarried and doesn't have any children. She is great and we have always been close but recently she made a comment to me that really bothered me.
So with Christmas coming, I'm sure your house may get a new board game or two. I just saw an interesting study that showed that Moms are far more likely to let their kids beat them at games than Dads. I guess it goes with the whole boosting self esteem, nobody's a loser , everyone gets a trophy thing.
Christmas is all about the kids. I so love kids when they are at the age write letters to Santa and ask for what they want this year. A Lot of them are the standard fare, a quick greeting, a declaration of "goodness", an itemized list and "Love" or "Yours Truly" and they are done. But some, just make you laugh out loud and you just cant help but feel good about Christmas and Ole St. Nick.
We had a lot of different discussions on the show today that seemed to get people all in a tizzy to give their two cents. Man I love when that happens. One of them was the subject of taking the teaching of cursive writing out of schools.
I must admit I found it interesting how many people just couldn't fathom the idea. Yet when asked, when is the last time you needed to use cursive handwriting most were at a loss.
I don't know if you have seen it yet but this video has been making the rounds on some of the social media sites. I'ts kind of fun for any parents or especially young people who want to have kids to watch.
Now that the kids are running in circles from a sugar high and the costumes are away for another year, we'd love to see your munchkins all dressed up! Did your child, nephew, nice, grandson, granddaughter, etc go as a ghost? Perhaps a pumpkin or firefighter? Upload your photos and we'll help you show them off!
