There's literally a day for everything.  Some are warranted more than others.  Anything that brings awareness to disease prevention, people who serve and protect, and food are pretty much alright in my book. Today is "National Food on a Stick" day and for the love of kebabs, it couldn't be more justified...

You scream. We scream. I scream when I have to wait in a long line for Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream but then I'm super excited about it when I'm eating it.

It first opened in 1949 and over the last couple of weeks has had its doors closed in Slingerlands while its owner has fallen ill. While that news is never good news, what we do know is that I will be reopening, even if it's just for this weekend to give us free ice cream!

Ben & Jerry's and the New Belgium Brewery are teaming up to make a brand new yummy sounding beer!

We have been going through a good stretch of hot weather, and hey, sometimes you just really need something ice cold to cool off.

It was a bummer when we all found out that the Ben & Jerry's on Lark street would be closing its doors. But, the amazing news of it re-opening in a new location is perfect timing for the 80 degree temps this week!

As if we don't all already love Stewart's ice cream, mothers have even more of a reason to stop by this Sunday...50 cent cones!
