Superman Wins NASCAR’s Auto Club 500
Superman, I mean Jimmie Johnson, took the checkered flag this weekend, beating Batman!
Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr., partnered to promote the new “Superman v Batman: Dawn of Justice” movie by racing as the characters. They wore themed fire suits and drove themed cars. It was great!
There was one point in the race Jimmie took the lead, although short lived at the time, Caden showed his support with his very own Superman pose! Yes, we tweeted it - AND got a reply from NASCAR:
In true superhero fashion, Johnson came from out of nowhere, 15th place, to beat Kevin Harvick who lead most of the race, allowing Superman to come away with the win. It was a great finish. With this win, Jimmie passes Dale Earnhardt Sr. for most wins.
Batman, Dale Jr., got into some trouble in the beginning of the race, but in Batman fashion, he didn’t give up either, finishing 11th.
