The group calls itself “Individuals Tending to Savagery” and claims Unabomber Theodore Kaczynski as an inspiration.  A package sent to the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education just outside Mexico City actually exploded.  The group took responsibility for that attack as well as linking itself to attacks iin France, Spain and Chile.

UAlbany’s Nanocollege did not comment on the story about the terrorist group issued in the Times Union, however; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute issued a statement about their nanotechnology program stating they know about the threat and have campus officials …………………………………………………………………….. working on protecting their students.
