September 11 – On the 14th Anniversary, We Remember
On this day, 14 years ago on a calm morning in 2001, at 8:46 A.M. and 9:03 A.M., two hijacked planes were crashed into the World Trade Center.
Two other suicide flights crashed at the Pentagon and in the woods of Pennsylvania.
A total of 2,792 people died in the World Trade Center attacks, and 184 innocent people died in the Pentagon attack including those on the plane.
40 innocent people died in the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.
This morning we remember all those people who lost their lives on that day. And we stand with the families of all those victims as they continue to mourn those lives lost too soon.
We also take this opportunity to pray for all those first responders who so bravely went into harm's way to save the lives of all those victims.
Take a moment today to reflect and remember so that we, as a country, never forget.
