Sunday, February 1 will be the debut of a new show on WGNA called Capital Region Sunday. The show will be all about various local organizations. I’ll be talking with people from those organizations, discussing things like fundraisers or how their organization might be helpful to you. You may hear something about how you may want to get involved with their organizations.

SBANENY Walk-N-Roll / Spina Bifida Association Of Northeastern New York

The first segment will air at 6:00 a.m. and my guests are from the Spina Bifida Association Of Northeastern New York. Karen Wentworth and Heather Horwedel will be talking about what SBANENY is all about, and about some of the fundraisers that they do. One of the fundraisers is the ‘Walk-N-Roll For Spina Bifida’ as presented by the Daily Gazette, in Central Park in Schenectady.

The second segment will air at 6:15 a.m. My guests will be Sarah Martinez and Jennifer Frame from Special Olympics New York. They’ll tell us about will be some of their fundraisers, including the ‘Heat And Sweet Cocktail Mixer’ event on February 12 at The Palace Theater in Albany. This event is perfect for that special day shortly after - Valentine’s Day.
