Obama: “Snowden Is Not A Patriot” [VIDEO] [POLL]

Opinions on Edward Snowden are a mixed bag. Is he a patriot who was just looking out for the American people? Or is he a criminal who deserves to stand trial for treason against his government.

The President said in this video that Edward Snowden is no patriot. If you don't know who he is, Snowden is the man who leaked the information about a month ago that the National Security Agency has been monitoring private citizen's phone calls. He is now hiding out in Russia, as the Russian government has offered him one year's asylum.

Snowden's leak revealed that while the government cannot listen to your calls, they can see who you're calling.

President Obama stated in this interview that he was looking into security and monitoring reform before Snowden leaked the information, and that a safe and legal process to reforming security measures would have been preferable to an online leak.
