Back in October I begged and pleaded in an open letter to the one and only Miranda Lambert.

It might sound silly, but I am a big fan and I really wanted to see her again. Not just see her again, but see the new music live and in person. I mean, right after she was at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center last June (on my birthday, eee!) she released, "Vice." She had sort of teased new music but also, not really and then bam! There is was. And we didn't get to hear it live like a lot of the tour did.

I was jealous. I was restless. I wanted it first hand!

I saw that she had released a new list of tour dates for her new album and I had this to say in my open letter:

"That’s why this morning when I saw that you announced another tour, I was even more excited! All I could think was, “please let her be coming back to the Capital Region so we can hear the new album live in person!”

I checked the dates, Miranda. We’re not on it. I now know what “Mama’s Broken Heart” feels like."

You know what happened soon after? She was added to the Taste of Country Music Festival lineup!

I don't want to take full credit, but it's hard not to feel partially responsible. I mean, I beg and then magically she adds a date?! You're welcome.

That being said, I'm not only planning on getting myself to that day of the festival (Jun 10th) but I also plan on telling her all of this. Because I just might be that crazy.

See Miranda, along with Jason Aldean, Sam Hunt and more for the Taste of Country Music Festival June 9th-June 11th at Hunter Mountain. Buy your tickets here.
