Miranda Lambert did an interview with Shape magazine and told them “she doesn’t watch her figure.”  She said she finds ways to work out while on the road, but she said “I don’t mind having a big butt – they’re back in style.”  She did admit she does “do a lot of squats to make sure her booty’s not dragging on the ground.”  She also says she’s tried dieting, but she is just focusing, now, on maintaining a healthy lifestyle instead.

And speaking of Miranda, there’s an online auction on eBay with some rare finds that belong to her, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn RimesSara Evans and much more.  The proceeds from the auction will help raise awareness and funding for the Nashville Music Garden.  If you’ve never been to Nashville, it’s a one-of-a-kind garden in downtown that pays tribute to all the aspects of country music, including the artists, that make Music City unique.  Bidding ends this Monday.  Some of the items include, meet & greet passes, concert tickets, and a trademark cowboy hat owned, worn and autographed by Chesney..

A couple of our favorite artists are picking up some platinum certifications.  Congratulations to Lady Antebellum who picked up a double platinum certification from RIAA for their self-titled debut album.  Not only that, but they also received a triple platinum certification for their sophomore album, Need You Now.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood’s single, “Remind Me,” has been certified platinum.  Luke Bryan’s Tailgates & Tanlines and Eric Church’s Chief both have been certified gold.

The annual American Country Awards will be held this coming Monday.  Voting ends today, though, and is open for Artist of the Year.  So you still have time.  Just go to their website.  Choices include Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift and Zac Brown Band.
