Menands Elementary Lends A Hand In Creating One Huge Capital Region Anti-Bullying Song – Reading, Writing and Rhyming

Another great school, another great teacher, another group of kids who hate bullying.  They have joined my quest to create one HUGE anti-bullying songThis project has been spread amongst 4 different Capital Region counties.  Schools include Schoharie, Jefferson Elementary, Stillwater Poestenkill, Pine Hills and this one, Menands Elementary

This was a second grade class under the very capable direction of Mrs. Trainor.  What a great, creative group!  I was astounded by what they came up with!  These are just little pieces that they wrote that will be added to one big song.

Thanks kids – awesome job!

I also wanted to mention that this program is in conjunction with the Academy for Character Education from the Sage Colleges, which offers many resources for teachers and parents who would like to learn more about preventing bullying.  I thank them for their involvement.!
