I saw this over the weekend and my heart sunk.  Keaton Jones, a middle schooler from Knoxville, Tennessee was so shaken after being bullied at school, his mom had to pick him up.  A crying Keaton was too afraid to go to lunch, but he did request that his mom post this heartbreaking video to Facebook.  I can't even imagine what I would do if my son experienced something like this.

Many celebrities including UFC President Dana White, professional and college athletes, actors and actresses have tweeted out words of encouragement and support to Keaton.  “Add me to your long list of friends Keaton,” tweeted Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the Hulk himself, Mark Ruffalo, even reached out.  “Little buddy,” wrote Ruffalo, “I was bullied when I was a kid. You are right #ItGetsBetter! You are my own personal super hero. Protect Yo Heart. You got a pal in the Hulk.”

If you or someone you know is enduring this type of treatment in school or otherwise, there is help.  The Albany County Bullying Prevention Task Force is one of many ways to inform, prevent and help those being bullied.
