Man Was Asleep And Drunk In Car On Pond

A 29-year-old man has been accused of driving drunk when authorities discovered a vehicle on a frozen pond in Pittstown, with the man asleep behind the wheel.

In the story from the Times Union, Kyle Weed told New York State Police that he didn’t know how his vehicle ended up on the pond. Weed also told police that he had been drinking a substantial amount of alcohol.

Weed was sent to Samaritan Hospital in Troy to be treated for some minor injuries, and then released. Weed was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and will need to be in court at a later date.
