In a story that I saw on News 10 ABC, as Jeremy Bacon was walking out of the store wearing the boots, employees tried to stop him. Bacon allegedly lashed out by hitting one of the employees with a shopping bag, and then attempted to punch the same employee.

Bacon left the store, but was caught and arrested in Scotia, on Route 50. He was sent to Schenectady County Jail and was charged with robbery in the third-degree and petty larceny He was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
