New York State Police saw a car that was going a little too fast on I-90 near East Greenbush, but when they tried to pull it over, the driver took off.

The chase, which lasted about 15 minutes, went over a portion of I-90, exiting the highway a couple of times, and ending at the Patroon Island Bridge. When the suspect left the highway the two times, it was an exit to Route 9 and Route 4.

Because of some heavy traffic in the construction zone on I-90 at The Patroon Island Bridge, the suspect, 28-year-old Jacob Loewentheil, couldn’t go any further, but that wasn’t quite the end of the incident. A couple of New York State Police vehicles then surrounded Loewentheil’s vehicle. Loewentheil made another attempt to get away from the troopers by ramming his vehicle into the two police vehicles.

According to the story from CBS 6 Albany, Loewentheil was arrested and ended up with several charges - Criminal Mischief, Unlawfully Fleeing A Police Officer, Reckless Endangerment, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Possession Of Marijuana, and Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance.
