Man Allegedly Drove Wrong Way On Exit Ramp – Gets DWI
A 37-year-old Albany man was driving into the East Greenbush Price Chopper, on Columbia Turnpike, early Wednesday morning.
The problem was that he allegedly entered the parking lot on an exit only ramp.
In a press release from the East Greenbush Police Department, Stanley Everett, II was charged with DWI. The results of the sobriety test showed that Everett allegedly had a Blood Content of .25 percent, more than three times the legal limit in New York State. It was also stated in the press release that substantial research catalogs this high range of B.A.C. in drivers as being highly dangerous to themselves and others.
Besides getting charged with DWI, he also was charged with Speeding, Failure To Obey A Traffic Control Device and Failure To Use A Designated Lane. He was scheduled to be in court on March 6.
