Man Accused of Being Intoxicated And Then Ran From Police

A 45-year-old Albany man was pulled over by police after someone said that they saw him backing up at the exit 25 toll plaza on the Thruway.

On Saturday night, August 16, police pulled Mark Jennings over. They found out that he was allegedly drunk. The traffic stop then turned into a police chase, as he sped away. During the chase, police lost sight of him.

In the story from WNYT, Jennings car was later found in a parking lot in Albany where it was involved in a minor accident. Jennings wasn’t with the vehicle, but was found later.

That’s when he was charged with Reckless Driving, DWI and several other offenses. According to police, Jennings license is suspended.
