On Halloween, most kids love to go out trick-or-treating, dressed up as their favorite character, trying to get as much candy in their little sacks. I haven't gone out for the traditional door to door begging in a long time, after all, both of my kids are grown up. It doesn't mean I don't like the candy part of it. We always get the bags of candies for the little ones that will stop by on Halloween. I'm sure you do this trick, too - You buy the candy that you like, so you'll enjoy it if you don't hand it all out. Oh wait - I hope no one shows up so I can get all of the candy. Actually, I'm glad they do stop by. I really don't want to eat all of the goodies myself.

So I thought I give you the list of my top five favorite candy bars.  Some may even have a link to hear the old commercials for them.

5) Mounds

I always think of the old Mounds / Almond Joy jingle - "Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't."

4) Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

And of course the old "you got chocolate in my peanut butter. No, you got peanut butter in my chocolate."

3) Kit Kat Bars

"Give me a break."

2) Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate

"There's nothin' like the face of a kid eating a Hershey bar." I know it's not the dark chocolate, but I still think of the old jingle for a Hershey bar.

1) 3 Musketeers Bars

"Fluffy, not stuffy."

I don't eat that much candy, so when I do, I make sure it's my favorite candy bar. What are your favorite Halloween treats?
