Lee Brice’s tour bus caught on fire Saturday night, sitting outside Toby Keith’s Bar & Grill in Mesa, AZ.  Lee and a few others were apparently sleeping on the bus at the time, but they were able to run off and no one was injured.  The whole back lounge area of the bus was apparently burned.

Now that we know who will be going to the Super Bowl, we can also know who will be giving performances.  Carrie Underwood and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will perform once again together from the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam, Saturday February 4th.  It’s part of the CMT Crossroads, the second year they will broadcast from the Super Bowl Fan Jam.

Garth Brooks gave a tearful testimony Friday before an Oklahoma jury regarding his late mother and his failed efforts to honor her.  Garth had given a hospital in his hometown of Yukon $500,000 thinking he had a deal with its president, James Moore, to name a planned women’s center after her.  The center never got built and Moore testified there was never such an agreement.  Garth will continue his testimony today.
