Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood Engaged & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

Dave Haywood from Lady Antebellum is engaged!  He proposed to his girlfriend, Kelli Cashiola, at her home in Nashville Monday night.  Kelli worked for Warner Music Nashville.  Dave picked her up and blindfolded her before driving down her street.  He decorated the house earlier like a winter wonderland and spelled out “Will you marry me?” in Christmas lights on the outside.  She of course replied, “Yes!” 

Zac Brown Band have been spending their ninth consecutive week at No. 1 with “Keep Me in Mind.”  Their spot has been locked in on Mediabase’s chart.  It’s their fourth No.1 off their sophomore album, “You Get What You Give.”  The band just received a Grammy nomination for “Best Song Written for Visual Media” for “Where the River Goes.”  That song was featured in the recent version of “Footloose.”

You can catch Martina McBride on TV tonight.  She’ll be on the 13^th Annual “A Home for the Holidays with Martina McBride.”  The show airs on CBS tonight from 8 to 9pm. 

And Sara Evans is earning top honors.  She is the only female artist to hold the #1 spot on the country radio charts for two straight weeks during 2011.  Her song, “A Little Bit Stronger,” co-written by Lady A’s Hillary Scott, went platinum.  She, of course, will be coming to Albany with the boys of Rascal Flatts on January 26^th, at the Times Union Center.

Josh Turner has a new single out.  The song is called “Time Is Love” and it hit iTunes yesterday.  The song is off his fifth MCA Nashville album that has yet to be released.  The song will begin airing on radio airwaves January 9^th.
