Country artists are doing a lot of different things than just singing in today’s country music news.  Keith Urban has reportedly agreed to appear on the Australian version of “The Voice.”  Joining Keith, will reportedly be American rocker, Joel Madden aka Nicole Richie’s husband and Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem.  Trust me, boys, she is not too hard to look at!  Taping for the show doesn’t start until early next year.

Brad Paisley releasing his first ever – get this – book!  Brad has teamed up with the editor of Rolling Stone, David Wild. “Dairy Of A Player” is due to hit store shelves November 1st.  Brad’s book is a salute to the guitar gods who have shaped his life  Some of them are country, but he also thanks some blues and rock & roll guitarists.

Wheel of Fortune’s host, Pat Sajak, has a daughter joining the country music scene.  16-year old Maggie Sajak  just released “First Kiss” and is very much being compared to Taylor Swift.  If you’re a huge “Wheel of Fortune” watcher, you probably heard Pat mention Maggie during a recent episode.
