I may have mentioned how many charity events that happened to be in the month of September. Here's another one-- but every single one of them seem to be as important as the next, so I felt an obligation to post the information as well as let you a repeat of our Capital Region Sunday interview with the people involved.

Mark Wells works for Hudson Valley AAA, but  his dedication doesn't end there.   His daughter, Linda is battling a rare form of mesothelioma, whiich is a disease triggered by exposure somewhere along the line to asbestos.

It's amazing, but I can remember when I was young spending lots of time in the basement of my parent's "mom and pop" store, and I clearly recall that the pipes down there were wrapped with asbestos.  Noone knew back then the consequences.  Many many schools have spent piles of cash having it removed from their buildings.  But "mess" seems to remain a problem, and Mark is doggedly determined to do something about it.  I had a chance to speak with him and I'd like you to hear his story..

We'd certainly appreciate you supporting this cause by donating and/or coming out to watch the fun!
