Now that marijuana is legal in New York state, there are many establishments that are trying to capitalize on it. Of course, there are dispensaries, smoke shops, and designated pot-smoking areas, but there is a mini-golf course in the Capital Region that is making it a special event.

What is This Mini-Golf Course Doing?

Olde Saratoga Miniature Golf had started a special Tuesday night event called "Puff Puff Putt" in 2021 to allow patrons over 21 to smoke pot and play their mini-golf course. On Tuesday nights from 4 pm until 9 pm you can light one up and try for a hole-in-one! It's $11 and they do I.D. at the door.

Who Came Up With The Idea?

Brian Brumley who owns Olde Saratoga Miniature Golf said he came up with "Puff Puff Putt" because he wanted folks who enjoy smoking marijuana to have something to do. He emphasizes that they do not supply anything just what you need to play his course. It's "BYOP" (Bring Your Own Pot). He said it gives those who partake in smoking marijuana to have a place to do it. He also said that it is important for those attending to do it responsibly. He suggests designating a driver or taking an Uber according to News 10 ABC.
