Guy Leaves His Kids In His Car And Gets Drunk In A Bar—You Wont Believe What Happens Next

There seems to be too many stories about people leaving their kids in the car while they do amazingly irresponsible things, sometimes for hours. This one may be the worst, or best, depending on how you look at it.

Earlier this week, a 28-year-old man named Joshua Delong decided to go to a bar and drink it up for about 4 hours. Hey, I’m all for having a few drinks at the bar, “hanging with the guys” but Joshua’s plan had a very large flaw in it. He took his kids with him and locked them in the car while he drank it up inside.

Now, I’m not sure at exactly what time this happened but from what I can gather from the story it may have been during the day, and in the hot sun of Ocala Florida. I say this because they made sure to point out that Joshua left his three kids ages, 5, 7 and 8 locked in his car for 4 hours with the windows rolled up.

It was when he came out to go home that a security guard stopped him because he thought that Joshua was too drunk to drive home and spotted his kids inside the car. This is when Joshua continuing to make really bad choices, began to make a scene which brought the other drunks out of the bar to see what was going on.

When the drunks he had just spent the last 4 hours drinking it up with realized that he had left his kids in the car the entire time he was in there with them, they beat him up.

When the police arrived they brought the kids to their mother, took Joshua to the hospital to be treated for the injuries he received from the beating and charged him with 3 counts of child neglect. While the men from the bar do not look to be facing any charges for their role in the incident.
