After authorities got to a call about some people spray painting property,

including rail cars parked near the Scotia area, one person was arrested and sent to the Schenectady County Jail after an arraignment in the Scotia Village Court.

When New York State Police received a call about the graffiti artists, they saw four people spray painting graffiti on several rail cars that were parked on the Pan Am Railways property. When they noticed that they were spotted, the four took off and ran into the woods nearby.

It wasn’t long after, that one of the accused graffiti artists was identified by New York State Police and then arrested. She was 24-year-old Alicia L. Phillips from Grafton.

In the story from the Times Union, authorities saw that Phillips was nearby. After she was picked up and taken in for the graffiti, she was charged with several things including Making Graffiti, Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest and others.
