Governor Cuomo Wants A Toy Recall

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo wants a child’s toy taken out of stores.

That toy is called Clingy Darts. The toy has apparently been made with an excessive level of a chemical, which can be poisonous It’s used to make the plastic softer in the toy. The chemical, which is on the EPA website, is DEHP – Bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate.

In the story from CBS 6 Albany, most of the stores that sell the toy are Dollar Tree stores. Cuomo has submitted a request to the federal government to recall the toy, and has also asked stores to take it off the shelf. He also wants people to stop playing with the Clingy Darts or just toss them out.
